This morning I put in an appearance at the Guildford Book Festival at the new (very big) Waterstone's (which used to be an Ottakar's).
Massive hi to everyone I met there. I enjoyed all your ideas - I think there's a future in a story about a dog that turns out to be a cat called 'Spoon', possible made of metal, and perhaps kidnapped by aliens from the planet cutlery.
