The Sydney Writers' Festival has fizzed past in a sparkling few days. (Does that make it sound like champagne? Cos that's how it felt.)
Now I get back to the business of enjoying Sydney as a tourist.
I am still a writer, though, so I'll be working on a short story and also visiting a handful of schools. I'm very excited about meeting everyone at Crown Street School this afternoon.
By the way, anybody been to the beach at Manly today? Could you look out for the massive dolphin sculpture we made in the sand? We didn't have a camera, but I'd love to know whether it's still there. It was life size, and 3-D! It so was so realistic, I promise you it almost swam away.
