Here's a little addendum to the last post. (I'm sorry -it's another cricketing reference, but after this I promise to lay off cricket for a while.)
According to Sky Sports, Andrew Flintoff had a 'third ankle operation' in 2007.
Don't you think he should have got that third ankle seen to earlier?

I believe that the third ankle is a part of the third leg also known as the middle wicket.
