More Great Sushi

Last night I sneakily slipped into my favourite Soho Sushi bar. I almost idolise this place, and last night it lived up to my expectations. There were a couple of surprises too - a daily special of Japanese hamburger, for example, which was succulent and fulfilling.
I was there on my own, before I met up with some friends, and that made it feel all the more like a secret habit. But the food really is worth it. That was confirmed later in the evening when a whole bunch of us went to a different place in Chinatown. The staff were very accommodating (it was almost midnight) and the company was great fun, but the food just wasn't the quality of my first supper (and it was three times the price).
Now I need to persuade my friends that in future they'd enjoy Japanese hamburger.

OK, I'll give it a go. It was minced beef with bits of onion and various delicious flavourings that were a mystery to me. It was in the shape of a regular hamburger, but coated in breadcrumbs and then sliced into strips so it was easy to eat with chopsticks. Very tasty!

It was delicious! And yes - I'm pretty sure it was raw. But one of my favourite foods when I'm not in a Japanese restaurant is Steak Tartare, so there you go.
