Jimmy Wins

I just heard that my first book, Jimmy Coates: Killer, won the Hillingdon Schools Book of the Year Award.

Apparently it beat Michelle Paver's 'Wolf Brother' into second place, which is amazing. Read all about it here.

Thanks to everyone in Hillingdon for putting me up for the award and then for voting for me. It means a lot to me - my first award for writing books.

Quite something.

I'm going to have to get some tippex out, go through the whole house, and wherever my name appears, I'll write 'Award-Winning Author' next to it.
