Yes, I gave in to the little dreamer inside me today and bought a ticket in the Eurowatchimacallit lottery. A one in 76 million chance of winning the jackpot - a one in thirty-something chance of winning £6.70. Nice round figure they've got there.
I had a good chat with the numbers, though, before I picked mine. Gave them a pep talk. I'm pretty confident. I know how to pick winners - a skill honed over my years as a sports coach.
How much would the jackpot have to be before there were complete meltdown in the streets? £500 million? £1 billion? More?
