The new season started last night for my five-a-side football (soccer) team, Imaginary Madrid. We got off to a storming start - it was 2-2 at half time, and pretty close, but then we took things up a gear and finally won 11-3.
Very pleasing, obviously. I hope we can keep this up - there are some tough teams in our league.
Somehow we've managed to finish fourth (out of eight) every season for as long as I can remember.
I celebrated last night's win with a visit to my third favourite shopping centre, Brent Cross, where I met some people in WHSmiths who then bought my book. Also very pleasing. I hope you enjoy it! Don't forget to let me know.
