Congratulations to me - it's my birthday.
I was born on 31st December 1979. I have reached a quarter of a century.
Pretty soon my age will be greater than my batting average (that's cricket, by the way).
But I'm feeling great about this ageing thing, and as excited about my birthday as I was when I was 8, (or one twelfth and a halfth of a century).
My girlfriend has not only made me a birthday cake, but cupcakes too. Because I haven't eaten enough over Christmas.
One more thing - also having their birthdays today are:
Sir Ben Kingsley
Sir Anthony Hopkins
and Val Kilmer.
Bet they don't get cupcakes.
