Erring. Sorry, that should say 'earing'. Oh, no, wait, I do mean 'erring'.

Congratulations to Mike Edge, the first reader to email me who has spotted a mistake in Jimmy Coates: Revenge.

Page 256. 'Yeas' should say 'years'.

He also says he enjoyed the book despite the mistake, so that's OK.

I'm sure there are a few other mistakes to spot, though. There seem to be some in every book. It seems almost impossible to have something of that length without a single error in it somewhere. What's amazing is the number of people who read the book before it's printed - some of whom are only reading it to check for mistakes!

I suppose it's way the human mind reads, and subcnsciously corrects mistakes, like missing out or repetition of letters or even or small words.
