I spent four hours of my precious life yesterday watching reality TV. Can you believe that? I'm ashamed of myself. A double bill of The X-factor, followed by Britain's Next Top Model and, best of all, Jerry Hall's Kept.
Thinking about it, I fast-forwarded the adverts so I suppose it was only three hours. That makes me feel marginally better.
I did get quite confused by the end of it though. Especially when the judges in X-Factor started packing their verdicts with double negatives:
"You let yourself down today. But I have made my decision. We will NOT be asking you not to leave the competition. Congratulations."
Erm, indeed.
