This morning, my eye situation has changed. It's not better, it's not worse, but it is different. Yesterday it was swollen on one side, giving me an unavoidable expression of melancholy. That was good for invoking sympathy.
Today the swelling is more even across the whole of the upper eye-lid. This makes it harder to open the eye, so now I look proper shifty. It's also tricky to get the eye-drops in.
I might resort to a patch. But that will bring pirate comments, won't it?
