It's been very helpfully pointed out to me that I might be reading the 'wrong' blogs. So I went a voyage of blog discovery this morning, and have now spent several minutes of my life playing with sand. Then I discovered I could make things explode, and that's even better.
And to be honest, I thought the motorway map of the UK was pretty cool. But the sand thing is better.

WOW that sand thing is soo cool, I like exploding stuff ¬_¬ Where did you find that? It totally rocks! Ive spent about an hour doing the exploding sand thing now... it is really good. :D
