Another great annual tradition passed successfully this weekend - The Tea Party.
My parents provided sandwiches (cucumber, smoked salmon etc), cakes (many, various) and conversation to about 70 guests. My friends and I contributed a great deal of eating and some healthy competition on the table-tennis table (table-tennis - the prince of sports).
Most wonder was reserved not for the amazing array of confectionery, but for the weather. It didn't rain. We were all in the garden. Dry. I don't quite understand how that happened, but it was a good thing.
